How do I maximize my exposure to Top High School Coaches and Scouting Services? How do I maximize my chance to make one of the Grassroots Post Season All Star Teams?

The answer is the Burning Sands Invitational VI for 4th - 8th Graders.  It is all brought to you by the GYFL and presented by the one and only Under Armour!!!!  We must protect this house.......

THE BURNING SANDS MIDDLE SCHOOL SHOWCASE EVENT!!!!!!

The Burning Sands is a Showcase Event for middle school prospects (including current 4th Graders). Our Fall League participants have the benefit of auditioning for us, the top HS Coaches in the DMV, and the top Scouting Services in the country every weekend during Grassroots games.  In an effort to give a fair shot to those kids who are playing in other leagues, the Burning Sands has been expanded.  All of the top public and private school coaches in the DMV will be on hand at this event and they will be looking for the next crop of talent to fit their program needs.  The question is, will your son be there to get noticed?.

Last year at this time Antwain Littleton and Zion Larkings were Elite Level 8th graders being recruited by the top High School programs in the DMV. They had made their names in the GYFL and on the Team Maryland in the FBU National Championship,  We knew how good they were and what their future would hold regarding college scholarship offers at the next level, but they BOTH wanted that National Recognition that only the FBU All American Game Selection could give them.  They followed the program.  Their parents listened. They worked hard.  They killed the Burning Sands. And as you can see in the graphic below, they were both named to the most prestigious 9th Grade All American Game in the USA.  They are just the first two!! There were more, trust and believe.  Greg Penn, Michael Johnson, Caleb Coombs, Taisze Johnson, and Colin Henrich were also named FBU 8th Grade All Americans.

This year USA Football has been added to the mix and we have a number of our 9th Graders extended invitations to the prestigious U16 International Bowl to be played in Dallas Cowboy Stadium.  Christian Taylor, another one of our Elite Level 8th Graders in 2016 who crushed the Burning Sands, has already been extended his invite, and there are many more to come.

We know what we are doing folks.  We are subject matter experts and we have this down to a science.  We want you to trust us and come see how we do what we do.  It all goes down at the Burning Sands VI on Sunday October 8th, at St. Johns College High School.  Who wants to be the next FBU All American and USA Football International Bowl All Star from the DMV?

The GYFL has been added to the selection committee of the 1st Ever Under Armour 8th Grade All American Game, which has been dubbed, "The UA Next All American Game."

Under Armour is about to take it to a level that hasn't been seen quite yet.  They are pulling out all of the stops.  This game will have NO registration Fee for those that believe that true All Star Games should not have a fee associated with it.  This game has no charge.  Hotel rooms for the kids are paid for by Under Armour.  The kids are loaded up with gear from Head to Toe, including cleats.  The kids practice on the same fields as the HS Under Armour All Americans and will be treated just as the name of the game is titled, "UA NEXT."

The opportunities just don't stop folks.  If you want your son to be next in line, then you know what to do.

FBU National Championship Tournament Opportunity:

In addition to exposure to the top HS coaches in the DMV, this is additional look for the FBU Teams State All Star Teams.  This is NOT the official FBU Tryout, but we are always scouting for talent for our MD State Teams.  We don't put more stock in any event more than the Burning Sands when finalizing roster spots for the FBU Teams.

In 2016, we were able to offer the athletes of the DMV NOT ONE, but TWO FBU Teams.  Not only is the Nationally known and respected Team Maryland coming back stronger than ever to defend the 8th Grade 2016 National Championship, but FBU has given us the opportunity to present Team Maryland Metro as well, and judging by the success that Bowie had in the Spring and what their Varsity team is doing so far in the Fall, Maryland Metro is going to be Spectacular.

So the DMV and GYFL we will have 70 6th Grade roster spots, 70 7th Grade roster spots, and 70 8th Grade roster spots to fill!!!  There are FBU opportunities for ALL of the Goons now.  This is unprecedented.

In addition, the Team Director for Team Virginia is a charter member of the GYFL.  So between the 3 FBU Regional Teams, there are now 105 roster spots per age group for your athlete to have a chance to compete in this spectacular tournament.  It does NOT matter what league you play in. FBU is for you and the Burning Sands is where you get noticed.

Now, if you are not aware of the importance of the FBU National Championship Tournament and how it can change your sons life, it is is imperative that you do some homework.  Go to www.FootballUniversity.org to learn about the parent company.  Take a look at the highlights from last years 8th Grade National Championship Game, which was watched by over 200,000 viewers on live stream.  CLICK HERE AND PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!!!!

It is simply hands down the most prestigious, most competitive, most important, and most scouted Youth All Star Event in the United States of America. It would take me 5 pages to explain all of the benefits.  Please visit the FBU website to learn about the company and all that it is tied to, including but not limited to, the US Army All American HS Game televised on NBC every January.  Next, visit www.FBUNC.com to learn about the tournament.  Trust me, the best of GYFL's best all come through FBU.

Youth Crab Bowl & Capital Bowl Opportunities:

This is the only official GYFL sanctioned tryout Youth Crab Bowls that will be truly spectacular this winter. There will be 8 regional Teams battling it out for regional supremacy the weekend before Christmas. Those that have experienced the Crab Bowl understand that there is NOTHING like it in the Mid Atlantic Region.  If you don't know, you really should ask somebody that is respected and connected.  The HS coaches of the DMV flock to the Youth Crab Bowl to mine for local talent.

Click Here to learn more about the Youth Crab Bowl.

The inaugural Youth Capitol Bowl drops the weekend after Christmas and will be played at the beautiful Georgetown University.  It will pit an All Star Teams from the Northern Va side of the DMV at 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade against an All Star Teams from the DC/Maryland side, comprised mostly of stars from the Metro AYF League.

Elite Level Scouting Opportunity:

From a scouting and exposure standpoint, the Burning Sands is unmatched.  The top nationwide HS scouting services like Rivals.com, and SEN will be on hand to capture all the action, rank the athletes, and provide unprecedented national exposure.  The one and only Chad Ricardo will bring the flavor like only he can.

Don't miss it.  Space will be limited, so sign up before spots run out!

You may take the risk to walk up the day of the event and register, but once we hit the 300 participant number, we are shutting it down.  If you take the risk of walking up, you must have cash or money order made out to GYFL.  No checks will be accepted!!!!!!!

To truly understand the value of this event and how it can change lives, just take a look at the article from the Baltimore Sun on three of our alums who are currently juniors in High School.  It breaks down how an important element of college recruiting works by the Mid Atlantic Regional Director of Scouting for Rivals.com.
