GYFL Offensive Player of the Year
QB      Ish Seisay                             Fairfax County
Notes: The “Sensational Ish Seisay had an unbelievable year for the Fairfax County All Stars. This was not an easy choice. There were many deserving candidates and we know that some kids may be disappointed. Deandre “The Rifleman” Parker lit the airways up all season long passing for 953 yards in 7 games. He led an undersized District of Columbia offense to a double overtime loss to the Baltimore Metro All Stars, he was the first team Quarterback, and is just an incredible passing quarterback. Will Hollister had a great season as well for Loudoun County. Tahir Tyler was hands down the best running back in the league and deserved consideration. But, this award goes to the Offensive Player of the Year. Ish Seisay is just one of the most scintillating and amazing 14 year old quarterbacks that we have seen. He can do it all. His combination of passing and running was spectacular. He passed for 585 yards in 6 games and rushed for another 242 yards. He has “Michael Vick” like elusiveness in the run game and the pass game. He ran a high school offensive passing system and was a tremendous leader on the field. This was not an easy choice because the talent was so deep. He is a wonderful kid, an honor roll student, and had a fantastic freshman season at DeMatha, where he excelled on the Junior Varsity and was moved up to Varsity for one game this year.  Ish comes from a family of talented student athletes and has two older brothers that played college football and have tutored him well on and off the football field.  The young man has a very bright future ahead of him if he continues to work hard, train hard, study hard, and pray hard.  Congratulations Ish!
